1995-2003 by Stormgrove.
Buildings before 1926 may be shorter than 11 stories.
TampaÕs building count is severly hindered by the concentration of office
buildings in the Westshore area where the average height is about nine to ten
stories. The same situation is developing in east Tampa at Sabel Park where new
buildings are rapidly rising from the ground to heights of four to ten stories
usually with more than 200,000 sf of rentable floor
space.
This same phenominon is taking place at St. PetersburgÕs Gateway business
park area with more than a million new sf undercontruction in buildings ranging
from four to nine stories. Similar to Tampa, there is more rentable sf space in
Gateway than downtown St. PetersburgÑthis is true for Westshore to TampaÕs
downtown.
