In the end, the council voted 3-2 in favor of issuing a permit for developer Bob Kirk to build Riverwalk Village to 100 feet, 40 feet above the height limitations for the zoning on the site at the southern edge of town. The village would span 28 acres and consist of two 10-story buildings featuring 352 condominiums atop 97,000 square feet of retail and professional space."
